The Indian Premier League second runner up or the third place holder Royal Challengers Bangalore has announced it squad for the Airtel CLT20. The team will play in the group B under Anil Kumble’s leadership in South Africa from 10 September. In the 15 men squad five players are from the abroad. There is no problem in the squad except South African all-rounder Jacques Kallis.

Kallis is used to play on the side of Warriors in the domestic twenty20 club cricket at thee same time he also plays for RCB in the IPLT20. As his both team is qualified for the Champions League 2010, his attendance on his home side become uncertain because of rules and regulation of signing up with RCB.

According to the condition of Indian premier League he has to be taken part in CLT20 on the side of IPL franchise cricket club Royal Challengers Bangalore. Similarly, New Zealand batsman Ross Taylor will have to be a part of parcel of RCB instead of his home team.

Royal Challengers Bangalore: Anil Kumble, Rahul Dravid, Robin Uthappa, Manish Pandey, Praveen Kumar, R Vinay Kumar, Virat Kohli, Cameron White, Ross Taylor, Dale Steyn, Jacques Kallis, Dillon du Preez, B Akhil, Abhimanyu Mithun, Nayan Doshi.

RCB has thrown a big challenge to the Otago. 188 runs lead just losing 2 wickets and raise hope to play in the next round for Royal Challengers Bangalore. JH Kallis scored 73 runs from 59 balls and RV Uthappa assists of 42 runs from 31 balls make a big flow of RCB’s runs.  Later V Kohli and Taylor’s 32 urns each pulled them to lead a big score of 188 runs. I want to remind the reader that Taylor scored 24 runs from last over and Kallis just took single when Raylor sent ball over the rope 3 times.

Fall of wickets: 1-75 (Uthappa, 9.5 ov), 2-134 (Kohli, 16.1 ov)

Otago already has lost BB McCullum and AJ Redmond and Hamish Rutherford, three important wickets just for 32 runs. JH Kallis is the first success bowler is the honor of the credit.

Royal Challengers Bangalore v Chennai Super Kings IPL 2009 away match

In the home match, the RCB and CSK meet in an encounter at St George's Park, Port Elizabeth on 20 April 2009 when Chennai Super Kings won by 92 runs. The second leg match will be held at Durban on May 14, 2009. Kumble’s will be eager to take the 6th wins and the Dhoni’s side will try to hold it wining sequence and be excited for 7th win.

The 10 wickets taker in an innings of test cricket, Anil Kumble’s team is doing well this year than 2008. The RCB was skipped by the South African born former English captain Kevin Pietersen earlier this year. Now, the responsible was continued by the Anil Kumble instead of Rahul Dravid, the former captain who leaded the team in first season of Twenty20 designed Indian Premier League. The team is not able to satisfy their fans as expectation.

Indian Captain MS Dhoni is leading the Chennai Super Kings as well. They do not want to remind their previous painful memories that was kicked out form the semifinals but playing very attentively to be the title holders. It could say in a word that they are performing very well.

Now, it is the main question to the fans which are going to play semifinals? Royal Challengers Bangalore or Chennai Super Kings can be qualified for the semifinals? Most important information that there will not be any super eight matches in the series. Four teams will be qualified who will be the top of the standings table.
