Jacob Oram to miss Airtel CLT20

New Zealand team is visiting Sri Lanka to take part in the Micromax Cup tri-series. The Black Caps already has washed out from the series despite of achieving a big wins against India. In the first match, he was played but was in rest in the second match and came back in the match against Sri Lanka. The 31-years-old felt in knee injury during the practices session. Now, he is straggling hard to overcome his weakness and expected to back in the national team.

Odt Sport  reported:
"Oram had been carrying the injury for some time although he was fine when taking figures none for 26 off nine overs in the ultimately weather-aborted one-dayer against Sri Lanka at Dambulla last weekend," said Central Districts coach Alan Hunt.
"This knee has been troublesome for some time. He has been having niggles on and off with it for a reasonable period of time. It has clearly flared up again in the last couple of days in Sri Lanka and they have tried to treat it over there without any success," he added.

Jacob Oram retired from Test cricket last October due to his injury. At this time New Zealand skipper is concern about his injury and stated that it is not a serious issue, he will recover soon and will play active role for team. It will be big challenge for the Black Caps. New Zealand all-rounder will play on the side of Central Districts in the next Airtel. It is just a 15 day to cure his injury otherwise he will miss the season.

The Hindu posted:
Before that, I was known only in the West Indies but it was the perfect opportunity for me to break through. I am often held up as an example of what the Champions League can do for a young cricketer's career. I would not be surprised if a few more young names prove their worth this time around. As an event, it is really good as the cricketers who have not played for their national teams get a lot of exposure and a chance to show their mettle.

All the cricket fans will be agree with him that Champions League has create a high platform for the crickets where the young and intelligent payer got an practical field to show his prominence. Before the league championship there was no event where the best clubs has change to meet. Like Kieron Pollard, more intelligent cricketer will come out at the end of the season.

Mumbai Indians Squad 2010 for Airtel CLT20 season 2

Mumbai Indians will play in the Group B of the Airtel Champions League 2010 in South Africa. Little master Sachin Tenddulkar will be the responsible captain of the Mumbai Indian. The third season was very favorable and performed well instead of final. Sachin’s Captaincy is always questionable. During his leadership his career and his team’s performances showed bad in Indian cricket history. But, as a leader, he pulled his team MI in to final of the season 3, even he achieves the title player of the series and scored most run in the year 2010.

According to the viewers, Sachin Tendulkar should step down from the captaincy in the upcoming Airtel CLT20. As example they are showing his performances during his period as Indian captain. But I don’t agree with them because he has experienced from the failure. And he is perfect now.

Mumbai Indians can expect a very good result in the Airlet CLT20 season 2. In spite of cashing most points in the group-round slept in the final. Hope, it will not be repeated in South Africa like the final of IPL season 3.

Mumbai Indians: Shikhar Dhawan, Sachin Tendulkar, Ambati Rayudu, Saurabh Tiwary, Harbhajan Singh, Zaheer Khan, R Sathish, Ali Murtaza, Dhawal Kulkarni, Aditya Tare, Kieron Pollard, Dwayne Bravo, JP Duminy, Lasith Malinga, Ryan McLaren.
