Former Australian coach, John Buchanan who was responsible as a head coach of Kolkata Knight Riders, has been fired. He was criticized much for his multi captain theory and kept Sourav Ganguly away from the responsibility of captaincy of KKR during the second season of the Indian Premier League that was shifted in
"I'm very disappointed in not being able to continue with the Knight Riders and complete the work I started some 18 months ago," PTI quoted Buchanan as saying in a statement. "I would like to thank everyone who supported me at Knight Riders."
Although he has been released from the responsibilities of the KKR due to teams’ bad performances in the second season and just secured 4 wins over the whole tournament out of 14 matches. But World Champion Australia has a record of successive land marks during his coaching and becomes consequently champions two times.
