Guyana in AirTel Champions League: Finds strong performance


Defeating Barbados, Guyana earns the title of Caribbean Twenty20 that was held on last Sunday 1 August in Queen's Park Oval. Former West Indies Cricketer Ramnaresh Sarwan is the responsible captain of the team. So it is a big challenge for him to lead his men in the upcoming Champions League in South Africa next month.

The last year’s champions Trinidad & Tobago lost to Guyana in the second semifinals and in final GuyanaBarbados. Although T&T got defeated to the present champions but acquired 10 wickets victory in the play off match for 3rd place. beat

In the inaugural League Twenty20 Champions 2009 Trinidad and Tobago bought in the runner-up title. They beat Cape Cobras in semifinals but defeated to New South Wales Blues in final.

So, Guyana success in the home cricket and Trinidad and Tobago success in the first Champions League should make them responsible.
